Jack O. Reese

Jack O. Reese, a lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at his residence at the age 87. Jack was born July 27, 1925, in Waukesha, to Oscar and Clara (Highley) Reese.

 

Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a longtime member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ. He had been employed with Waukesha Parks and Recreation. Jack was an avid golfer and sports fan. He enjoyed attending high school games as well as following the Packers, Braves and Brewers.

 

Jack is survived by his loving sons, Randy (Linda) Reese of Pewaukee and Robert Reese of Waukesha; two grandchildren, Kelly and David Reese; sister, Lois Schickowski of Waukesha; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alvin (Sally) Pals of Florida. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine Reese, in 2004; his parents; and a brother-in-law, Rick Schickowski.

 

The visitation for Jack will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the funeral home. The Rev. James Gorman will be officiating. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin (please meet at the main entrance).

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Jack may be directed to the Pewaukee High School Booster Club, 510 Lake St., Pewaukee, WI 53072-2361.
