Philip “Woodie” C. Woodie of New Berlin died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, surrounded by his family at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 64. Woodie was born Jan. 14, 1949, the son of Clarence and Margaret (Griggs) Woodie.

He was a parts and service manager in the automotive service business for many years working for many large auto dealerships. Most of all, Woodie enjoyed his job later in life working as a building maintenance technician. Woodie was a proud member of the FTW motorcycle group. He was involved with Harley-Davidson throughout his life and loved the biker lifestyle.

Woodie will be deeply missed by his wonderful wife, Lori; dear daughters, Anne (Sean) Tully and Melissa (John Gutierrez) Woodie; his grandchildren, Keegan, Finlay and Morgan; his cousin, Paul; mother-in-law and father-inlaw, Anne and Richard James; and other relatives and friends.

The visitation for Woodie will be held from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service Friday, March 22, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Sr. Mardelle Meinholz will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
