Ethel E. “Beth” Peck of LindenRidge in Mukwonago died with her son and daughter by her side Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha at the age of 90. She was born in Mukwonago on July 24, 1922, to Frank and Elizabeth (nee Zoebel) Box.

She was a graduate of Mukwonago Union High School. On June 19, 1943, she married Sterling Peck; he preceded her in death in April 2001. During World War II, she worked at Grede Foundry as a core finisher.

She was a former longtime member of Big Bend Baptist Church, and for the last 10 years she was a member of First Baptist Church in Waukesha. In her later years, Ethel lived at Linden-Ridge in Mukwonago, where she participated in and enjoyed all the activities held there.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sharon (Jeffery) Ladwig of the Town of Waukesha; a son, Frank (Julie) Peck of the Town of Vernon; and her son-in-law, Keith Winegarden of Green Bay. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, along with other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Box, and her husband, Sterling Peck, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Winegarden; a son, Rick Peck; and her sisters, Jean (Allan) Kruse and Arlene (Edward) Serres.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service today, March 26, at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. James Carlson will preside. Private interment will take place Wednesday at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend.
