Donald ‘Don’ J. Klousnitzer Jr.
“Don” J. Klousnitzer Jr. of Waukesha passed away peacefully Monday,
March 25, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 59.
He was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 10, 1953, the son of Donald J. Sr. and
Joan (nee Bock) Klousnitzer.
He was a 1971 graduate of Keystone Oaks High School in Pittsburgh, where
he was a swimmer and diver. Don went on to graduate from Indiana
University of Pennsylvania in 1975, where he played soccer. On Sept. 9,
1978, he married Karen Buser. He worked in sales for many years for
Hydrite Chemical. Don loved sports, especially golf, racquetball and
swimming. He enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina
and was a huge movie buff.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of more than 34 years, Karen
Klousnitzer of Waukesha; their children, Alison (fiance Andrew Timm)
Klousnitzer of Johnson Creek and Mitchell Klousnitzer of Waukesha; and
his father, Donald J. Klousnitzer Sr. of Florida. He is further survived
by his brother, Gary (Kara) Klousnitzer of Chicago, along with nieces,
nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Klousnitzer.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service
Monday, April 1, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 20275 Davidson Road,
Brookfield. The Rev. Jennifer Arnold will preside.
