Leslie Ann Nepper
May 5, 1955 – April 27, 2013
Leslie Ann Nepper (Leslie Lou), 57, of Delafield, passed from paradise in Maui to heavenly paradise in the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
She was born to Jan Bechtel (nee Fambrough) and the late Bob Bechtel on May 5, 1955, in Gambier, Ohio. Leslie was married to Jeff Nepper, her soul mate and one true love, on April 21,1988.
Leslie owned and operated Red River Furniture in Delafield (later Oliver’s), and later worked at the Bronze Stone Group. She was a gifted artist and interior designer. An active member of Lake Country Family Church, Leslie enjoyed being with people and infused joy into any setting with her ever-present smile and contagious laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff; mother, Jan of Cincinnati; sister, Robin Enderlie (Ray) of Cincinnati; sister, Dale Stockhausen (Curtis) of West Bend; brother, Kurt Bechtel (Terri) of Seattle; nieces and nephews, Alex, Liz (Brian), Shannon, Matthew, Mark, and many more.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Lake Country Family Church, which meets at Lake Country Lutheran High School, 401 Campus Drive, in Hartland.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the Leslie Lou Scholarship Fund.
