Paul M. Fay

Paul M. Fay of Glendale passed away peacefully Friday, May 17, 2013, at the age of 87. He was born Aug. 27, 1925, in Waukesha, the son of Matthew and Josephine (nee Federer) Fay. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married the love of his life, Mary Miller, on June 3, 1948. Paul had been a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a Legion Post #8 member for more than 50 years. Paul worked for the Catholic Knights Insurance Co. for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed cheering on the Badgers, traveling to Texas in the winter months and taking lifelong learning adventures with Elderhostel. Most of all, Paul loved spending time with his family.

Paul will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary, of 65 years; his children, Chris Keenan, Paula (Dennis) Berg and Jennifer Fay (Jim) Skrabut; grandchildren, Anna and Ben Berg; and niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Fay; brother, Robert Fay; and son-in-law, Charles Keenan.

The visitation for Paul will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, May 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
