Gertrude A. Urquhart, 96, lifelong Waukesha resident, died at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc on Saturday, May 25, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born in Waukesha on Dec. 13, 1916.

She attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a devoted member of the church. She was a hostess at The Moor Baths in her youth, and was a waitress at Tony and Bert’s American Legion for many years.

She will be missed by her children, Janice (Charles) Putz of Waukesha and William Orne II of Waukesha; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death unexpectedly by her daughter, Carol J. Reedich, and by all of her brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, May 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Lawrence Gates will preside. Graveside services will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
