Agnes Apoline ‘Aggie’ Tomasicyk

Agnes A. “Aggie” Tomasicyk (nee Gamroth) passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. She was born Nov.
28, 1926, in the small town of Independence, the daughter of Frances “Nana” and George “Boppie” Gamroth.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon “Gordie” for 35 years; loving mother of Susie (Jerry) Jones of Waukesha, Katie (Ronnie) Llanas of Waukesha and Doris (Elliot) of Morris, Utah; proud grandma of Teresa (Todd), Amy, Donna, Rebecca (Dustin), Annie (Darren), Esther (Kelly), Mary (Doug) and Racheal; and great-grandma of Tori and Selena, Silas, Gracie, Charlott, Asher, Eli, Larue and Quin. She is also survived by her sister, Romelle Sabend; brother, Art Gamroth; good family friend, Kippy Kennedy; and other relatives and friends.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Gordie, and her parents, Frances and George.
Agnes worked at Amron Corp. as a supervisor for more than 30 years when she retired. Agnes loved to dance. She loved to shop for shoes and purses. She liked to go to the casino and play cards on Tuesdays with her poker buddies, Maxine and Lupe, and her daughters.
She will be remembered and missed by many.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Care staff for their loving care.
A visitation and service will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. A private interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
