Luella M. Fredrickson of Waukesha died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Seasons Hospice surrounded by her family, at the age of 95. She was born in Waukesha on Dec. 19, 1917 the daughter of Louis Henry and Mildred Mary (nee Berkholz) Hoeft.

She was a 1935 graduate of Waukesha High School. On June 4, 1938, she married Robert Fredrickson; he preceded her in death in 1981. She worked at Montgomery Ward and then retired from SEWRPC after 30 years working there as a secretary. Luella enjoyed swimming at Carroll University in the senior swim group. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Dale (Sharon) Fredrickson of Waukesha; her grandchildren, Scott Fredrickson of Columbus, Ohio, and Lee (Sarah) Peterson of Markesan; and her great-grandchildren, Savanna, Lee and Jeremy Peterson. She is further survived by a brother, Harold (Marcella Hanrahan) Hoeft of Waukesha, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Lee, in 1976; two brothers, Kenneth and Robert; and her sister, Viola Green.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Gary Liedtke will preside. A private family burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
