Dec. 21, 1949 Ė Aug. 27, 2013
Marc Losiniecki found peace Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at the age of 63 after a heroic and lengthy battle with lymphoma.
He was the loving husband of Peggy (nee Prest); beloved father of Michele and Melissa; son of Gail (nee Schulz) (Pewaukee); and brother of Anthony and John, both of Pewaukee. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; a brother, Paul; and his sister, Christine Peck.
Marc was an accomplished machinist and a supervisor at Hader Industries in New Berlin. He was extremely grateful for the unending support and concern of the Hader family and employees throughout his illness and especially after he was unable to continue working.
Marc was a member of the Okauchee Lions Club. He was always happy to lend a helping hand to family, neighbors and friends. He was an avid fisherman and loved searching for those elusive muskies on Okauchee Lake. Marc enjoyed feeding the birds. Fred will miss his afternoons spent chasing the birds and relaxing in the shade with Marc. He took great pride in his garden and yard and was always happy to share his abundant tomatoes.
Services were Tuesday, Sept. 3, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, N8512 Brown St., Mapleton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Marcís name to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation or Froedtert Hospital Foundation/ Cancer Center.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Rodrigues, the nurses and staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and the Aurora Summit Hospital Third Floor for their gracious, wonderful care of Marc through his many trials, triumphs and setbacks. A special thanks also to Dr. Kamaraju and Dr. Fenske at Froedtert who supported and guided us through the early treatments.
