Edward A. Fisher

Edward A. Fisher, 79, of Eagle, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Lake Country Health and Rehabilitation Center. Edward was born Nov. 2, 1933, in Milwaukee, the son of Edward and Jewell (Gabriel) Fisher. Edward married Johanna Hunt on July 20, 1957, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Edward retired from We Energies, where he was an electrical engineer. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where he served on the church counsel and ushered on Sunday mornings. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 535 and was a lifetime member of the VFW in Waukesha. He was an avid hobbyist, enjoying hunting, fishing and gardening.

Edward was loved and will be missed by his wife, Johanna of Eagle; son, Keith (Cynthia) of Mukwonago; daughters, Julianna (John) Burmesch of Mosinee and Cheryl (Geoff) Greulich of Eagle; grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) Fisher, Crystal (James) Emmerich, Justin (Mami) Burmesch, Hannah Burmesch, Jeremiah Greulich and Samantha Greulich; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Sept. 13, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 136 Waukesha Road, Eagle, with the Rev. Dennis Ackeret officiating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery in Eagle.
