Leroy E. Sievert

Leroy E. Sievert, 88, of Mukwonago, passed away peacefully at Linden Grove in Waukesha on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.
Leroy was born Dec. 27, 1924, the son of the late Elmer and Ellen (Dalton) Sievert. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Surviving Leroy are his children, Ralph (Debbie) Sievert of Waukesha, Fred Sievert of Mukwonago, William (Cheryl) Sievert of Milwaukee, Linda Bacon of Eagle, Sharon Sievert, Christine Sievert and Carol (Martin) Adam, all of Waukesha; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Merlin (Pat) Sievert of Tomahawk; sisters, Alice Lamp of Waukesha, Margie Lamp of Genesee and Marion (Darrel) Mengal of Sullivan; and sisters- in-law, Lorraine Sievert, Wilma Sievert, Sandra Sitowski and Betty Mosher.
Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; brothers, Harvey, Donald and Laverne; sister, Bernice Gardinier; along with other extended relatives.
Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service Thursday, Sept. 12, at North Prairie United Methodist Church, 107 N. Main St., North Prairie. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at North Prairie Cemetery.
