Jean Ann Beaster (Harris)

Jean Ann Beaster (Harris), 89, of Waco, Texas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013. She was born March 7, 1924, in Waukesha, to the late George B. and Mable K. Harris.

Jean attended school in Milwaukee. She was a bookkeeper.

Jean loved to read the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1954. She continued Bible studies up until her death. She loved to read and enjoyed card games and time with her family and friends.

Jean worked at the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, Garland Rehab Center, and ran a business called the Ryan House in Garland, Texas.

Jean was preceded in death by a brother, George K., and a sister, Edith.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Michelle DiMarcantonio; grandchildren, David (Judy) DiMarcantonio, Leaha (Robert) Cardona, Mario (Andrea) DiMarcantonio and Loni (Matthew) Jones; and great-grandchildren, Hayley and Hyden DiMarcantonio, Breanna, Jonathan and McKenna Cardona, and Addison Jones. She is also survived by six brothers and sisters: James, Virginia and Richard C. (Pat) Harris of Waukesha; Jo Ann Steward of Elmhurst, Ill.; Nan Letson of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and Bruce (Dian) Harris of Rochester, Minn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Sept. 7, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2514 N. Jupiter Road, Garland, TX 75244.
