Michael J. ‘Abro’ Abrahamson
Michael J. “Abro” Abrahamson of Waukesha passed away Friday, Sept. 27,
2013, at the age of 40. He was born in Waukesha, the son of Robert and
Shirley (Kluth) Abrahamson.
Mike shared the same birth date with his father and his sister, Cindy. He
attended Bethesda Elementary School
and was a 1991graduate of Waukesha North High School. Mike attended
Waukesha County Technical College, where he studied welding and auto
mechanics and became an ASE certified mechanic. He had been employed with
various landscaping and lawn care services. Mike was the owner and
operator of The Race Shed Bar in Waukesha. He enjoyed camping with his
cousin Jay, card playing with his friends, taking part in motorcycle
racing and was an enthusiastic golfer.
Mike enjoyed music, the
Green Bay Packers, “The Walking Dead” television series and his two
cats, Devo and Yoda.
Mike is survived by his loving mother, Shirley of Waukesha; his two
sisters, Christy Abrahamson of Waukesha and Cindy (Don) Giessel of Genesee
Depot; his nieces, Sara (Justin) Pinkalla, Brittney Giessel and Courtney
Giessel; his nephew, Scott Geyer (friend Jamie); and great-nephew, Gavin
Geyer. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jean Lennon of Brookfield.
Mike is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and
many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; maternal grandparents,
Joseph and Veronica Kluth; paternal grandparents, Harold and Alma
Abrahamson; uncle, Harvey Kluth; and a cousin, Anne Abrahamson.
The visitation for Mike will be held from 3:30 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha.
