John D. Sindic Sr.

Dec. 24, 1925 — Aug. 1, 2014

John D. Sindic Sr. of Pewaukee passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 88. On August 1, 2014, at 7:11 A.M., John Sindic Sr. knocked on heaven’s doors. He paused and asked God for a moment to reflect upon his life on earth. Without hesitation, he silently spoke to his family, I am proud of each and every one of you and love you equally the same, so carry on without regrets. You made my life so complete, we truly had our differences which only made us strong. What pleased my heart the most was spending my last days at my lake home and to hear the laughter I had frequently known. It never mattered to me who was right or wrong, all I ever wanted was for everyone to get along. And the reason I knew it was okay for me to leave was the night before I left you, you proved it all to me. Until we are all together again, always remember it’s never too late. Winning the race called life is not how you finish, but the performance in between. So let your engines roar!

One last thing, check the air in your tires, they look low, and Jay, make sure the fire’s out down by the lake!

With all my love, your husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa.

P.S. To my Pooper Dolly’s, Tori Onna, Zofia and Carter, it was your hugs I felt embrace me as the angels carried me home. I love you – grandpa.
