March 18, 1963 — Aug. 23, 2014

Consolacian “Poncho” Rodriguez passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2014, at the age of 51.

He was the beloved husband of Linda (nee Burgett); loving father of Alma Judith Rodriguez Gomez (Arturo) and Armando (Jessica) Rodriguez; proud grandfather of Angelo, Aylah and Hiroshi; cherished son of Eulalio and Rita (nee Ortega) Rodriguez; dear brother of Luis (Rosinda) Rodriguez, Jesus (Jayme) Rodriguez, Juan (Martha) Rodriguez, Elisandro (Dalia) Rodriguez, Blanca (Lupe) Martinez, Maria Leobarda Olivas Rodriguez (Ceasar), Leyla (Martin) Rodriguez and Celey Rodriguez; and dear brother- in-law of Susan (Richard) Paullin, Karen (Al) Johnson, Sharon Burgett, Brenda (Todd) Wilrick and David (Mary) Burgett. Poncho is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Poncho was an employee at Advanced Disposal Services for over 20 years. When he wasn’t working, Poncho loved spending time in the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He finally got his trophy buck three years ago. He loved tending to his garden and enjoyed sharing his produce with friends and family. Another of Poncho’s favorite pastimes was cooking for family and friends, as well. Many will remember the pleasure he took in preparing his meals, stating it was better than any restaurant.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, from 4PM until the service at 7PM at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
