Rosemary Roe-MagedanzRosemary (Nettesheim) Magedanz of Marquardt Village, Watertown, died peacefully on August 27, 2014, at age 79. Rosemary was born October 9, 1934, Brookfield, the daughter of the late Herbert and Marie (Dahlke) Nettesheim of Pewaukee.

Rosemary was a beloved mother to her surviving eight children, Mary Lou (Rodney) Stelter of Hartford, Richard (Carol) Roe Jr. of Greenville, Roland (Marie) Roe of Hudson, Rita Behl of Lilliwaup, Wash., Reuben (Laurie) Roe of Oconomowoc, Roberta (Tim) Neitzel of Ixonia, Roderick (Julie) Roe of Springfield, Tenn.; and Robin (Sue) Roe of Watertown. She was a loved grandmother to 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers Frank (Margo) Nettesheim of Pewaukee, Matt (Carol) Nettesheim of Sussex and Doug (Clara) Nettesheim of Pewaukee, and her sister, Fran (George) Galewski of Pewaukee.

She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, George Nettesheim.

Rosemary retired from Menasha Corporation in Watertown after more than 25 years of service. She had previously been employed at the Watertown Memorial Hospital.

She was devoted to caring for and supporting her loving family and friends. She was dedicated to serving others and was an active member and volunteer of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Watertown. Rosemary also volunteered at the Watertown Senior Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Watertown on Friday, August 29, from 4 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, August 30, from 9 am to 10 am preceding a memorial service, with the Rev. John Kennedy officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Congregational United Church of Christ or a charity of your choice in her memory.
