Mary L. Brandemuehl (nee Hoffmann) entered eternal life on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the age of 69. She was born in Waukesha on April 9, 1945, to the late Marland and Vivian Hoffmann (nee Terwilleger).

Mary graduated from Waukesha High School in 1963 and went on to attend business school at Waukesha County Technical College. She used her education working in the insurance field and also at the Waukesha County Courthouse for many years. On April 30, 1977, she married the love of her life and soul mate, Richard Brandemuehl.

He preceded her in death on October 3, 1998.

Mary and Richard loved to travel; especially to Nashville and Branson for the best country music.

Mary was an excellent cook, avid reader and lover of cats.

She is survived by her niece Kim Schafer of Kentucky, sister-in-law Betty Brandemuehl of Mukwonago, sister-in-law Marilyn Hoffmann of Georgia, and nieces Kate and Sarah.

She will be missed by her many cousins, friends, book club and her little kitty, Jasmine. Visitation will be Monday, December 8, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Avenue, Waukesha, from 10-11:45 AM, with a funeral service at 12 PM. Pastor Andy Fetters will be officiating.
