Clifford W. Borgstrom

Clifford W. Borgstrom of Waukesha died on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. He was born in Duluth, Minn., on Sept. 26, 1926, the son of Andrew and Cecelia (nee Swanson) Borgstrom. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force during WWII in the Philippines and Japan. Clifford worked for Waukesha Engine for 43 years and was a founder of the Waukesha Engine Historical Society, where he served as historian for 22 years. He was also a member of the Old Timers. He was a longtime member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, a member of the VFW and the Disabled American Veterans.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jocelyn “Nonie” of Waukesha, and their children, Bonnie (the late Robert) Simon of Madison and Jim (Debbie) Borgstrom of Waukesha, his grandson Rob (Deby) Simon, and great-grandson, R. Payton Simon. He is further survived by his brother Carl (the late Helen) Borgstrom of Ottawa, his sisters-in-law Genevieve (the late Ken) Huelse and Susan (Dale) Arenz of Delafield along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant sons Ralph and James and his brother Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
Graveside services will be private at Prairie Home Cemetery.
