Roger J. Banks
Roger J. Banks of Moorestown, N.J., was born to eternal life on Dec. 16, 2014, at age 71.
Roger was graduate of Waukesha High School, Class of 1961.
He received his bachelorís degree from Marquette University Milwaukee in 1965 and worked toward his masterís at Penn State, Harrisburg, Pa., and Villanova University. Roger had retired in 2010 from the Gannett Fleming Co. after 43 years of service, where he served as senior vice president and member of the board of directors. He began his career in Harrisburg as a bridge engineer, grew in the transportation industry as the construction manager of the Erie Lackawanna RR Electrification project and established Gannett Fleming as a premier consulting firm in New Jersey prior to taking leadership of the eastern U.S. operations of the firm.
He was the beloved husband of Vivian (nee Eckstein), and loving father of Kelly (Lambros) Andreou, Kathy (Diana Decker) Banks and Karry Banks.
He is also survived by his cherished granddaughters Kara Banks and Melanie Andreou. He is the brother of Jane Mundschau (Lee, deceased), Raymond (Carol) Banks and the late Lois Moore. He also was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Selma Banks.
He also is survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 207 W. Main St., Moorestown, N.J. Viewing will take place Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St.
Moorestown, N.J. Interment will be at Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, N.J.
