Robert ‘Bob’ E. Beske

July 2, 1920 – Feb. 8, 2014

Robert “Bob” E. Beske of Waukesha died Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the age of 93 years. Robert was born in Chester on July 2, 1920, son of Albert and Frida Beske.

He was a longtime member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, Waukesha. Bob was also a past post commander and lifetime member of the Soat-Vergenz VFW Post 721 and a lifetime member American Ex-Prisoners of War. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bob will be dearly missed by his son, Tom (Sue) Beske; grandsons, Nicholas, Nathan and Weston Beske; great-granddaughters, Tenley and Esmae Beske; and brother, Raymond Beske. Bob is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; parents; brothers, Harvey, Martin, Albert, Milton, Eugene and Arnit; and sister, Marian Blasdell.

The visitation for Bob will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the 6:30 p.m. Soat-Vergenz VFW Post 721 memorial service with his funeral service immediately following on Wednesday, February 12, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Reverend James Gorman will be officiating. Private burial with full military honors will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
