Robert M. ‘Bob’ Teschner Sr.

Robert M. “Bob” Teschner Sr. of Waukesha died on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 87 years. Bob was born on May 2, 1926, in Milwaukee, the son of Michael and Elsie (Becker) Teschner. He proudly served in World War II in the U.S. Army and received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. Bob enjoyed sheepshead and golf, but more than anything spending time with his family.

Bob will be deeply missed by his children, Robert M. (Sharon) Teschner of Arizona and Patricia A. (Carl) Schaeffer of Illinois; his grandchildren, Matthew Teschner, Heather (Jeff) Johnson, Nicole Schaeffer, Chad (Lucia) Schaeffer, Anthony Schaeffer and Jonathan Schaeffer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa; brother, Bernard; sister, Shirley Knoebel; and grandson, Craig Schaeffer.

The visitation for Bob will be held on Friday, February 28, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280-N2101 Prospect Ave. (Highway SS), City of Pewaukee, WI 53072. The Rev. Anthony Zimmer will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church Building Project (see address above).
