Jeff Knigge, age 57 of Oconomowoc, lost his longtime battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice on Feb. 13, 2014.

Jeff is survived by his two sons, Michael P. Knigge and Matthew R. Knigge; and his longtime companion, Terri (Theresa) Fulmer. He is further survived by brothers Jim (Nancy) Knigge of Hudsonville, Mich., and John (Linda) Knigge of Dixon, Ill.

Jeff was born and raised in Dixon, Ill., and graduated from Dixon High School in 1974. He was a talented multisport athlete who participated in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, and gymnastics. He was employed by Carnation Company/Lake Country Foods, and moved to Delafield when he was transferred to the Oconomowoc plant in 1986. Jeff’s career there lasted 28 years with most of it holding the position of head of maintenance. He was a jack of all trades, and could fix just about anything.

Jeff was a great father and good friend to many. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and golfing in the early morning and was always keeping busy. He was a kind person who was always willing to help others. Jeff will be dearly missed by all who were close to him.
