Carol Kanter of Waukesha, a beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Carol was born in Waukesha on Sept. 20, 1940, and lived most of her life in Waukesha.
Carol attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School. She married Waldermore “Wally” Kanter on Sept. 7, 2012. Carol was a great seamstress, sewing, knitting and crocheting all kinds of things. She enjoyed drawing, painting and was a good cook.
Carol will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Waldermore “Wally” Kanter; her son, Philip Stern; and her siblings, Lawrence, Anthony (Kathy), Daniel, Michael Anzivino, Sharon Wolf and Donna (Blayne) Struve. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anthony and Ruth Anzivino; her parents, Lawrence and Ellen (nee Dahms) Anzivino; sister, Ruth Johnson; an aunt, Mary Mackie; and a great-niece, Tezra.
The visitation for Carol will be held from 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. with a funeral service to follow on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Carol may be given to the family.
