Drew Benjamin Dwyer
March 19, 1994 — June 27, 2014
If you were to vote Democrat, first consider Drew Benjamin Dwyer, 20, who passed into the eternal light of heaven in the early hours of June 27, 2014. Drew would surely have told you about the folly of your decision. By his estimation, not only are you enabling a group of financially illiterate liars whose biggest accomplishment in life was overpaying for a liberal arts degree, you are also making a not-so-subtle indication that you are easily manipulated. Don’t feel insulted, he felt the same way about Republicans.
Drew was born March 19, 1994, to John Tigue Dwyer and Nancy O’Brien Dwyer in Milwaukee. He lived the entirety of his life in the same house in Delafield and was a well-known figure throughout the Lake Country area, often being spotted in his front yard playing his guitar in the sun. He spent his elementary years at Wales Elementary, where he learned how to read, count, and do other cool things. He graduated Kettle Moraine High School in 2013, and then matriculated to University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, where he was about to finish his first two years of college in an intimate environment without accumulating unreasonable amounts of debt (try it sometime, Obama/Bush).
Drew loved to play music, he loved to debate, and he loved to be with friends. Drew hated Spanish. He left behind a loving father, John (59); a compassionate mother, Nancy (56); a proud sister, Jenny (28); and an awe-inspired brother, John (25).
Drew will be missed fiercely by his friends and family, who look forward to the day they will meet him again. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you get more upset about the government monitoring your phone calls. But seriously, in lieu of flowers please send donations to the Drew Dwyer Star Scholarship Fund, BMO Harris 2700 Golf Road Delafield, WI, 53018.
