Col. Ronald W. Westholm, CAP

Col. Ronald W. Westholm, CAP, born in Sweetwater, Texas, Feb. 2, 1934, and a longtime resident of Naperville, Ill., passed away July 15 at his home in Mundelein, Ill., with his loving wife, Dr. Palmira Janusonis, at his side.
Ronald was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence (Sheber); his brother, Richard; and his parents, Betsy and Vernon Westholm.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Dr. Rimas (René) Janusonis and Gintas (Angelika) Janusonis, and grandchildren Rasa and Rimas.
Ronald was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for 64 years, former Illinois Wing commander, and past president of the Illinois State Air Force Association.
A graduate of Northwestern University in electrical engineering, he retired after many years with American Airlines.
Services will be handled by the Petkus Funeral Home, Lemont, Ill., on July 25 and July 26. Burial will take place in Naperville.
The family is grateful to Drs. Richard Hansen, Hamid Saadati, Stan Markus, and James Jones, Darcy Grenier, R.N., and to the entire staff of the Oconomowoc Regional Cancer Center, and to the radiology staffs at Oconomowoc Memorial and Waukesha Memorial hospitals for their compassionate care.
