James ‘Jim’ Dibb
James “Jim” Dibb of Hartland was born to eternal life on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the age of 87.
He was the loving husband for 67 years to Winifred (nee Weber); loving father of the late Stephen (Joyce) Dibb, Donna (Richard) Wentarmini, James (Jean) Dibb, John (Patti) Dibb, Randall (Luann) Dibb, Jerome (Dawn) Dibb and Lisa (Richard) Suminski; special grandpa to Jason, Chad, Troy, Heidi, Erika, Adam, Tammy, Kelsey, Becca, Josh, Sarah, Jake, Alison, Scott, Martha, Jessie, Crystal, Jeremy, Sam and Natalie; and special papa to Hannah, Julian, Athena, Zoe, Haley, Colin, Abigail, Jaelynn, Jamos, Giovanni, Emiliano, Teigen, Tahlia, Keegan and Conrad. He is further survived by many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ann Dibb; brother, Roy (Irish) Dibb; and sister, Mildred (Hoyt) Shadrick.
Jim was devoted to his family and proudly supported all their activities. He was a sports enthusiast, playing softball and baseball until age 65. He was an avid bowler and golfer, a member of the Land O’Lakes Hall of Fame and enthusiastically coached many years of youth baseball.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 28, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Drive, Hartland, from 3:00pm until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00pm.
The family extends a special thank you to the caring staff at Linden Ridge Mukwonago and Serenity Hospice Care.
Memorials can be made in Jim’s name to the Land O’ Lakes Old-timers Association, which supports Land O’ Lakes and youth baseball.
