Alymer ‘Al’ Forrett

Alymer “Al” Forrett of Pewaukee passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the age of 95 years. Al was born in La Prairie Township to John and Josephine Forrett on May 29, 1918.

Al was a longtime Pewaukee resident and was a true sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. Al served in the United States Army 3rd Armored Division during WWII and retired from Rex Chainbelt in Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ruth (nee Miller), and daughter, Judy Maternowski.

He is survived by sons Michael (Jackie) of Waukesha, Chris of Houston, Texas, and Scott of Pewaukee; grandchildren Cathy (Jay) Baumann of Pewaukee, Alex Forrett of East Troy, Ted Forrett of Waukesha, Adrianne Anderson of Milwaukee and Frank Forrett of Pewaukee; and great-grandchildren Justin (Mariah) Rathkamp of Palatine, Ill., Elizabeth Baumann of Milwaukee and Emilija Forrett of East Troy. Al was blessed to have two great great-grandchildren, Michael and Alexander Rathkamp. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday, June 7, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Pewaukee. Please meet at the cemetery.
