Rebecca J. Gereau

March 24, 1952 – June 7, 2014

On the 24th of March, the year 1952, a precious gift from up above was sent – that being you. The face of our mother is the stamp of God. If ever there was a question as to what an angel looked like, her smile was the answer. A body without wings just to hide the secret He had. She was a friend, a loving comforter, a supporter, and most of all, an amazing mother. A woman strong enough to hold the weight of the world, yet delicate enough to break down from the tears of her children. To bite her tongue was unheard of. She was a speaker and a motivator. Powerful, yet never fearful of who she was. She made sure you were included in her family, as she accepted everyone unconditionally. An idol to some, a teacher to most, but a mother to all. One moment of her time was equivalent to a lifetime of love. Some say Momma, some say Raelene, you may even hear a Cricket in there, but all in all, they mean Mom. Rebecca Jean, the love of our lives, the apple of our eyes, may you forever rest in peace with your original family – the angels in heaven.

Becky is survived by her mother, Winifred Woodley; her husband, James Gereau; eight siblings; eight children, many grand and great-grandchildren; and numerous others, too many to name.

Her father, Roy L. Woodley Jr., has welcomed home his little girl on Saturday June 7, 2014.

As per the wishes of our mother, there will be no formal services. However, she has requested a celebration of her life to be held on Saturday June 28, at Pewaukee Village Park, 325 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, at 2pm.

In lieu of cards, flowers, etc., a donation in our mom’s name to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to spread mom’s love and support.
