Pat and Marcella took their children on many family vacations across the U.S., foreign countries including Ireland and yearly visits to the southwest. He gave his kids the “travel bug.”

His professional life was spent as a self-employed civil engineer and land surveyor. He spent several years as city engineer for Oconomowoc.
