Julia A. Sherman was born to eternal life on March 2, 2014.

She was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Torn) Lucchesi and sister to Samuel, Fredrick, Clarence, Elmore, William, Lester, Alfred, Arthur, Ruth and Dorothy (all deceased).

Julia married her love, Willis Sherman (deceased), and was the proud mother to Kenneth (deceased) and Patricia Sherman and to Kathryn and Thomas (deceased) Pyzyk; grandmother to Timothy and Marie (Molly) Pyzyk, Christopher (Tina) Sherman, Ryan (Andrea) Sherman; great-grandmother to Marguerite (Maisie) and Elise Pyzyk, Mackenzie Sherman and Wyatt Sherman; sister-in-law to Charles and Nova Sherman (deceased) and Joseph (deceased) and Norma Sherman. She is also survived by so many other wonderful family members and friends.

Our family sincerely thanks Barbara Miller, Jeff and Debbie Brinsko and Shirley Christensen for their kindness and love to our mother/grandmother for so many years as well as Lord of Life Lutheran Church, AngelsGrace Hospice, Three Pillars and Wilkinson Woods.

Julia was born September 15, 1917. She married Willis Sherman on April 30, 1938. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed gardening, baking, homemaking, fishing, sewing and playing the organ. She cared about all animals and had a great affinity for nature, possessing a sparkling personality, easy smile and keen sense of humor. Julia enjoyed life and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, N60-W35980 Lake Drive, Oconomowoc, on Friday, March 14, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Service will follow at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, AngelsGrace Hospice, Three Pillars or St. Catherine of Alexandria Church are appreciated.
