Robert G. Kostuck

Robert George Kostuck, age 87, of Reedsburg, formerly of Waukesha, was taken home to the Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born on September 7, 1926, in Waukesha, the son of Victor and Ester (Middlestadt) Kostuck.
Bob had served time in the Air Force before going on to graduate from Northwestern University in 1948. While attending the university, he met his future wife and love of his life, the former Marjorie Tate Stover. It was a love that lasted for over 63 years until her death on October 31, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of Waukesha, where he was the Standard Oil agent for 27 years. He was an active member of the community and served as a Boy Scout leader for many years. Bob also enjoyed singing and will be remembered for his uncommonly beautiful voice. He was a member of the Waukesha Choral Union, which allowed him the opportunity to travel in Europe and sing in various cathedrals. Bob also enjoyed camping and was a camp counselor at Timber-Lee. He was one of the founding members of Elmbrook Church and helped build it to what it is today. He was a supporter of the church’s missionaries as well.
Bob was a wonderful father to Robert J. Kostuck, Kathryn A. (Donn) Ferch and Nancy J. Kostuck; loving grandfather to Marley Lander (Anson) Berberich, Jillian K. Lander and Benjamin Kostuck; and dear great-grandfather to Atticus Berberich.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, and his parents.
There will be a memorial service celebrating his life at the Elmbrook Church in Brookfield beginning with a visitation at 12 noon on Monday, April 7. The service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Inurnment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery.
Bob and Margie were two very special people, very much loved and will be greatly missed.
