Jose S. Rocha found eternal peace on May 2, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, his mother Elisa and his step-son Albert Castro.

He is further survived by his loving companion, Alice Jane Dahlman; daughters, Maria Elena (Wally), Linda (John) and Maria Elena (Charles); sons, Joe (Jackie), Juan (Mary), Manuel (Lourdes) and Ricardo (Laura); and grandchildren, Raul, Angel, Ramiro, Veronica, Antonio, Nehomah, Toy, Dana, Eldon, Cody, Jessica, Jacob, Cristoval, Marissa, Brooke, Steven, Kandra, Angel, Anthony, Arynn, Joselyn, Christian, Sierra and Isaiah. Jose has 21 great-grandchildren, numerous family and friends and Jose is also survived by his faithful, loving dog “Max.”

Jose retired from Waukesha Foundry (WI), he was an avid guitar player and loved to work on cars. He then moved to Texas and worked at Harper School for over 10 years and then finally retired.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Horizon Home Health Care & Hospice for the compassionate care given to Jose.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 7, at Church & Chapel Funeral Home, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a service to follow.

Jose’s final request is that he make his final resting place in Harper, Texas. Memorials to the family to make this request possible will be greatly appreciated.

We will miss you and you will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again.
