After June’s discharge, they returned to the family farm on Hardscrabble Road in Dousman, where they built their dream home on the hill. Sarah worked for many years at LuLu’s Gift Shop in Dousman.

She was the mother of Linda Theine of Dousman and Virginia (Jack) Beatty of Menomonee Falls; mother- in-law of Deborah Longley of Dousman; grandmother of Doug Theine, Dan (Kim) Theine, Debbie (Rob) Wojtowicz, Pamela Longley, Cyndi (Eric) Fosholdt and Andy (Lisa) Gussert; and great-grandmother of Ashlynn Longley, Andrew Fosholdt, Alerik Longley-McHenry, Julianna, Addison, Breleigh and Kassidy Wojtowicz.

Sarah was very active in the Women’s Auxiliary of Dousman, the Oconomowoc YMCA, and the Old Sleepy Eye Pottery Club. She enjoyed travelling throughout the United States, Hawaii, and to her heritage in Wales, England. She loved her many flower gardens, always cutting bouquets for everyone. You may remember Sarah always in red, white, and blue and her many many hats and pins.

The family of Sarah extends a special “thank you” to the staff at Golden Living Healthcare Center for their patience and exceptional care. Private graveside services will be held at St. Bruno’s Catholic Cemetery.
