Gregory James Sensiba, 69, of New Berlin, was called home by God far too soon Saturday, Nov.
8, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and friends at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc due to complications after a long battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Funeral services are set at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Brookfield. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Church & Chapel Funeral Home, Calhoun Road, Brookfield, and from 10 a.m. until the start of services Saturday at the church.
Greg married Catherine Ann Pinter in February 1965 and raised three children, Steve (Maureen), Amy (David) Stanislawski and Marejo (Larry) Ramsey. He also was an attentive and loving grandfather to Jacob (Katie), Kyle and Emily (Sensiba); Corey, Joel, Nicole and Ashley Stanislawski; and Nate, T.J. and Luke Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Rose (Mountin) Sensiba; aunts Agnes Mountin and Margaret (Mountin) Conrad; and uncles Charles, Gilbert and Maurice Mountin. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Frank Pinter; mother-in-law, Evelyn (McTigue) Pinter; brothers-in- law, Robert, Frank and James Pinter; and his dear friend, David Chopp.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years and 9 months, Cathy, as well as his children Steve (and Maureen), Amy (and Dave) and Marejo (and Larry), as well as his 10 grandchildren. He also is survived by his brother, Shawn Sensiba of Janesville, brothers-in-law Matthew (Barbara) Pinter of Wautoma and Thomas (Roxy) Pinter of Mukwonago, as well as cousins and countless friends.
The family wants to express its deep gratitude to the staff of Grace Clinic at Froedtert Hospital as well as the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. The family also offers a special thank you to Dr. Ehab Atallah for his knowledgeable and compassionate care for Greg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to either AngelsGrace Hospice, Oconomowoc, or Grace Clinic at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa.
