Timotea “Timmy” D. Lopez, a longtime Waukesha resident, died on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at home surrounded by her children at age 89. She was born on November 6, 1924, in the town of Sinton, Texas. She moved with her parents to Waukesha in 1941. She then went to vocational school to learn English. She will be sadly missed by her children, Emilio (Carol) Juarez, Maria A. (Daniel) Monrial, Norma (Dale) Tuyls, Diane Martinez and Teresa Juarez. She is further survived by 23 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 11 greatgreat- grandchildren; her sister Sarah Mesa; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nabor and Maria Lopez; her brothers Aquilino, Marcos and David Lopez; and her sisters Teodora and Pabla Ramos.
The family would like to thank the 4NW nurses at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, the Rehabilitation Center nurses and also the nurses at ProHealth Home Care and Hospice for all the care they gave to Timmy.
