Kenneth O. Redding of Waukesha died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Seasons Hospice at the age of 53. He was born on February 18, 1961, in Madison, the son of Francis R. and Lillian E. (nee Weber) Redding.
On September 9, 1989, he married Dawn (nee Harrison) Redding. He received his Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in business from UW-Madison. He enjoyed coaching his son Nick’s baseball team. Ken was a hard worker and enjoyed his job as a territory manager for Fabco. Ken will miss his Fabco work family and friends. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to golf. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son and brother.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn, of Waukesha, along with their children Anna and Nick Redding, both of Waukesha. He was the dear son of Lillian E. Redding of Middleton; loving brother of Nina (Larry Westergard) Redding of Edmonton, AB, and Doug Redding of Hollywood, Fla. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Waukesha Memorial Hospital Oncology Department especially to Dr. Raza and nurses Cherand Natalie. Amy and Larry from Stillwaters Cancer Support Services and the caring staff at Seasons Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, from 5:30 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Fox River Christian Church, S46-W24130 Lawnsdale Road, Waukesha, WI 53189. A light reception will follow the service. The Rev. Pete Knebel presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or Stillwaters Cancer Support Services.
