Beverly Leetz of Waukesha died on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at LindenGrove in Waukesha at the age of 89. She was born in New York, N.Y., on June 27, 1925, the daughter of Harvey and Nora (nee Stankina) Brand.
Beverly worked as a bookkeeper for the Mental Health Association for many years. She enjoyed hiking, being in nature and had great love and respect for the environment. Beverly loved animals and was an animal-rights activist.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of more than 60 years, Donald Leetz Sr. of Waukesha, and their children, Karen Roberts of Fayetteville, N.C., Donald (Denise Hylton) Leetz Jr. of Milwaukee and Tracy (Timothy Gourdoux) Leetz of Elkhorn. She is further survived by three grandchildren, two-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Gamblin.
Private family services will be held.
