Dec. 13, 1915 — Jan. 15, 2015
Majorie Jean Lohman was born December 13, 1915, in Neilsville, to Irving and Bessie (Sweetland) Andrews. She found peace January 15, 2015, at Angels-Grace Hospice. On August 26, 1939, she married Walter H. Lohman. He and their son Keith predeceased her. She is survived by sons Walter (Shirley) of Waukesha and Alan (Judy) of Sturgeon Bay; daughters-in-law, Romayne Lohman of Palmyra and Sandra Fisher of Waukesha; five grandchildren, Scott (Rachel) Lohman of Sister Bay, Jennifer (Dean) Peterson of Endeavor, Elizabeth (Chris) Gallagher of Waukesha, Christopher (Leann) Lohman of Sturtevant and Andrew Lohman of Sturgeon Bay; five greatgrandchildren; sister Marilyn Parker of Edmonds, Wash.; cousin Peggy Gamma of Wisconsin Rapids; and special friend Mona Lindgren of Watertown.
After becoming a widow in 1969, Marjorie attended WCTC to receive her LPN degree and worked for many years at Northview. Following retirement, she enjoyed more than 15 years living in Florida. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, crafts and reading. As the consummate mother who lovingly cared for children and grandchildren, she will be remembered forever with fondness.
Special THANK YOU to the staff at Avalon Square and River Hills West in Pewaukee for the kind and gentle care given to Marjorie.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
