Walter G. ' Wally’ Reib

Sep. 26, 1927 -- Feb. 3, 2015

Walter G. “Wally” Reib went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at the age of 87. Born in Kenosha, Wally spent his life close to his roots, living in Milwaukee, Greendale, Oconomowoc, Cambridge and finally Pewaukee, where he died at his home.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Wally’s life centered on his family. We are deeply grateful for a lifetime filled with family experiences we shared with him, including many vacations, holidays, outings, celebrations, passages and abiding love. Wally was also a loyal employee. As a draftsman, he spent over 50 years with the same company and built lifelong friendships that endured to the day he died. Wally pursued other interests as well. He enjoyed studying and creating art and we will miss adding new paintings, cartoons and handmade cards to those he created, especially in his later years. He was an accomplished bowler, pool player and card shark. He was also an avid reader and history buff, interests that fed his desire to never stop learning.

Wally, who was predeceased by Nikki, his wife of 50 years, is survived by his four daughters, Jerelyn Seeley, Stephanie Reib, Patricia Baccash and Suzanne Reib-Smith. He was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. We will also miss him more than we can say.

Wally’s memorial service will be held at Westbrook Church, 1100 Highway 83, Hartland, on Friday, February 13. A one hour visitation will begin at 11:00 am with the service following at noon and a light reception afterward.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Toys for Tots would make dad smile.
