Vivian June ‘Viv’ Vrooman (nee Litt)

Vivian June “Viv” Vrooman (nee Litt) reunited with her husband, Rots, on Monday, March 2, 2015, at the age 82.

She was the loving mother of Ralph Vrooman and Roxie (Robbie) Smallwood and loving grandma of Gabe and Gillie. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Vivian was an athletic person in her younger years, playing fast-pitch softball, and was an avid bowler and member of the 600 club.

While attending Waukesha High School, she was the band queen. She graduated in 1950 and was a member of the “Nifty Fifty Group.”

Vivian was a telephone operator for AT&T for 18 years, retiring to raise her family. She worked at the election polls in Waukesha for many years.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, from 5-7 PM. Visitation to follow on Saturday, March 7, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, from 9-10 AM, with a funeral service at 10 AM.
