James G. Reedich

James G. Reedich, 77, died at University Medical Center due to complications of surgery in Tucson, Arizona, on March 18, 2015.

Born in Waukesha, he and his late ex-wife Carole owned Jim and Carole’s Tavern along with a successful softball team.

He and his family moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., in 1971. He became a car salesman for many years.

In 2001, he moved to Tucson to be close to his daughters and grandchild.

He continued car sales until he fell ill. Then became a well-known employee of a popular convenient store. Then later retired.

He is survived by his son Craig (Sheryl) Reedich of Los Angeles, Calif., daughter Elana Reedich of Tucson and daughter Tia (Christina) Reedich of Tucson; stepchildren Vicky (John) Koch of Hartford and Randy (Maureen) Butterfield of Ventura, Calif.; and grandchildren, Cambria, Kajsa and Colton Reedich of Los Angeles, Cayelyn Reedich and fiancé Justin Hubbert of Tucson, Kayla Cooper of Tucson, Jason, Caralee, Tiffany, and John of Hartford and Brandon, Ceara, Garrett and Evan of Ventura. He is also survived by his sister Joanne Kresin of San Luis Obisbo, Calif., and nephew Michael Laine of Voorhees, N.J., along with sister-in-law Jan (Charles) Putz and brother-in-law William Orne, both from Waukesha; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and friends. And last but not least, Duane (Guido) Rosinheim and his children Shawn, Shane and Kelly, all from Santa Barbara, Jim’s lifelong friends that he considered family.

He will be terribly missed by his family and friends, but is now with the love of his life, Carole, in heaven.

A memorial service will be held in Santa Barbara, where he and his family lived for 27 years. Date to be announced.

We love you with all our hearts and souls, Jim.
