Carol E. Rahn
Carol Rahn of Waukesha passed away on Monday, April 1, 2015, at the age of 83 years.
She was born in Milwaukee, the daughter of Wilhelm and Alvina Fritsch. Carol married Robert Rahn on March 4, 1950. She worked for the city of Waukesha in the parking utility for 30 years. Carol was a member of the Red Hatters and worked with the United Way board. She was proud of working with the Waukesha Christmas Parade for over 14 years. Her love of gardening brought her joy. Carol took many bus trips with friends to the casinos for her gambling fix. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Carol will be sadly missed by her children, Terry Rahn of Loganville, Michele Coogan of Weaverville, Calif., and Cindy (Richard) Kasten of Shelton, Wash.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Freudenstein, Jason Rendall, Heath Kasten, Julia (James) Dale, Joshua Rahn, Nicholas Rahn, Benjamin Rahn, and Rachel (David) Sackett; great-grandchildren, Robbie Dale V, Ezekiel Dale and Dacora Freudenstein; nieces, Deborah Cramer and Vickie (Doug) Kromer and Sandra (Bob) Mager. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Bonnie Rahn; sister Pearl Cramer and brother LeRoy Fritsch.
The visitation for Carol will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 noon funeral services on Thursday, April, 9, 2015, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial will immediately follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
