Ramon Otto 'Ray' LuchtRamon Otto “Ray” Lucht of Waukesha passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015, at Linden Heights Health Care Center at the age of 88. Ray was born on August 29, 1926, the son of Otto and Alvina (Bredenick) Lucht in Tess Corners.

He married Catherine Jones on April 10, 1948.

Over the years, Ray worked at Wern Farms Dairy, Borden’s and retired in 1986 from the Godfrey Co. after 17 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and a longtime member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He and Catherine enjoyed traveling to visit relatives and he was most happy being with his family.

Ray will be deeply missed by his children, Richard “Ric” (Susan Wilson) of Arizona, Barbara Poff of Waukesha and Diane (Keith) Kelsner of Oconomowoc; his granddaughter, Tamara Boneck (Andrew Friberg) of Waukesha; and great-granddaughter, Tessa. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

The visitation for Ray will be held on Sunday, April 12, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The second visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, from 10:00 a.m.

until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. D. Andrew Fetters will be officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
