Arthur ‘Art’ Abe

Arthur “Art” Abe, age 60, of Delafield, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Art is survived by his loving wife, Debby, of 34 years; his children Chelsa (Chris) Bunker, Devin (Lori) Abe, Chandra (Donnie) Clarke and Channing (Cody) Hamblin; along with his grandchildren Kylie and Ellie Bunker and Aiden Arthur Abe. He is further survived by his father, Arthur C.

Abe; sister Jeanette (Richard) Nigro; brother David Abe; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Art was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn, and his mother-in-law, Gale Jensen.

Art served his country in the Navy for three years and served a mission for two years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He formerly worked on the ski patrol at Olympia Ski Hill and at Jensen Equipment for 27 years. Art loved hiking, biking, golfing, tennis and fishing. Most of all, he loved all outdoor activities with his family. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandpa and friend and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Art will be held on Saturday, May 2, at 12:00 PM noon with a visitation for family and friends to start at 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, all to take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 115 N. Wales Road (Highway 83), Wales, WI 53189. Memorials are suggested to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Patron Temple Fund or Missionary Fund.
