Robert D. ‘Magic’ Goetzelman ll
Robert D. “Magic” Goetzelman ll, 65, passed away on April 8, 2015, at his home in Fort Myers, Fla., with family by his side. He was born and raised In Waukesha. Bob served in the Air Force for six years, and after being honorably discharged, he returned to live in Waukesha until moving to Fort Myers in 1985, where he started Tricks ‘N’ Treats and for 25 years entertained many throughout southwest Florida, amazing them with his magic, juggling and balloon sculptures. Along with doing handyman jobs for neighbors and friends, he loved riding his motorcycle — a real modern day Renaissance man.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #274 and the VFW Post #10097 Bob will be missed by his loving wife, Grace, of 46 years; sons Erich and Pieter (Rachel); two grandchildren Lily and PJ; and his devoted mother, Dorothy (Naples).
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Goetzelman, and brother Tim Goetzelman.
A celebration of his life will be held June 6 at his home in Fort Myers, Florida.
