John (Jack) A. Gannon
John (Jack) A. Gannon, age 81, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. He was the son of the late Martin and Irene Gannon. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Arlene, and daughters Janet (Brian) Enters and Jeanne (Mark) Elkins. He was the brother of Sharon (Charles) Berkholtz and Patricia Westerman (deceased). He was the proud grandpa of six grandchildren, Sarah, Jessica, Erik, Andrea, David, Daniel (deceased), and seven great-grandkids.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a lifelong carpenter and built many homes in southeastern Wisconsin. He was an avid wood carver and was a charter member of the Lake Country Carvers. He loved fishing and was a member of Lunkers Unlimited. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Nashotah Fire Department until retiring to Coloma, where he served another 15 years as a volunteer for the Coloma Fire Dept. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
A visitation for John was held on Wednesday, May 6, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Cemetery.
