David Lee Gallenberg
David Lee Gallenberg, a former Waukesha resident, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 65. He was born in Waukesha in 1950, the son of Raymond and Agnes (nee Schramke) Gallenberg.
Receiving his bachelorís degree from UW-Whitewater, David worked for the states of Wisconsin and Indiana as an occupational safety and health inspector. He was an easy going, fun-loving guy. A proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, David accepted his fight with Multiple Sclerosis with courage and endurance. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
David will be missed by his son, Joel (Sabra), and their two children Camryn and Cassius of Louisville, Ky.; three brothers, Roland (Joyce) of Fox Lake, Norbert of Juneau and Bernard (Barbara) of Madison; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister-in-law, Rickie; and a great-nephew, Zachary Gallenberg.
The visitation for David will be held on Saturday, May 23, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38W31602 Highway D, Genesee Depot, WI 53127. The Rev. Ralph Gross will be officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Paulís Catholic Cemetery.
