Jim proudly served our country as a United States Marines during WWll and was injured in action. He was a staunch supporter of the American Constitution.

He was a real estate broker-appraiser with Dooley and Dugan Realty Co. and licensed in two states, Wisconsin and Florida, for 58 years. When his beloved wife Jane became ill, he devoted himself to her care until her death in 2003. He also cared for within his home his widowed mother, father-in-law and young brother-in-law. As a young boy, he loved being in the Boy Scouts and achieved the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. He was a faith-filled and active member in his church, headed the Usher Society, was a eucharistic minister and lecturer, and led a weekly Bible study in his home. Jim loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, photography and flying after getting his private pilot’s license. He was a quiet man filled with kindness and dignity and will be missed by many.

Patricia and Jim wish to thank their sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dale Dineen, for many years of faithful daily care, and love given to their dad in their home.

The family wishes to thank the kind, caring and compassionate staff of Wilkinson Woods assisted living in Oconomowoc, and the continuing care staff of Vitas Hospice, who lovingly took care of our Dad as if he were their own father.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at the Wilkinson Manor Community Room, 919 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc. Private Interment will be in Florida at a later date.
