Donald Robert  Leetz SrAfter battling cancer for many years, Donald Robert Leetz Sr., age 90, died at home on Friday, April 17, 2015. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Brand Leetz, on January 10, 2015, (June 27 would have been Beverly’s 90th birthday). They were married 70 years ago on August 26, 1944. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Irving Charles and Anna Natvig Leetz, as well as his brothers Arnold and Kenneth.

Donald is survived by his children, Karen Leetz Roberts, Donald Robert Leetz Jr. (Denise) and Tracy Leetz (Tim Gourdoux). He is also survived by three granddaughters, two great-grandsons, his brother Brandon (the late Kathleen), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was a founding member of the Milwaukee Chapter of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers and very active at the local, state and national level. He was a veteran and served during World War II with the Merchant Marines. Donald greatly enjoyed sailing on local lakes in his Cape Dory.

A visitation for family and friends to honor and celebrate the lives of Beverly Brand Leetz and Donald Robert Leetz will be held on Saturday, June 27, from 11AM until 12 noon at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Wildlife In Need Center, W349-S1480 South Waterville Road, Suite B, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
